Fleet Movements: Your Alliance War Room

Fleet Movements is your alliance's tactical hub for combat coordination. This is where you see every active attack on alliance members and outposts, organize your alliance's response, and send your own fleet to help.

To get there: Go to Alliance Home and tap Fleets.

What You Can See

Fleet Movements has three tabs. Each one answers a different question.

Member Attacks — the default tab when you arrive. Shows every active attack on an alliance member's Stardom or fleet. The most urgent threat is at the top. The badge on the tab shows how many attacks are active right now. When it reads 0, there are no active attacks.

Outpost Attacks — the same idea, but for your alliance's outposts. If an enemy alliance has launched an attack against one of your outposts, it appears here. Tapping a row opens the detail panel for that combat — the same panel as in Member Attacks — where you can scan attackers, open the Battle Calculator, change the triage status (Member rank and above), or dispatch a fleet to defend the outpost.

Our Defenders — shows which alliance fleets are protecting your outposts right now. Fleets that have already arrived are listed as Stationed. Fleets still on their way are listed as En Route, with an ETA. This tab is for viewing only. To bring one of your own defenders home, recall that fleet from Command Fleet or the map, the same way you recall any fleet.

Every tab stays current automatically. You do not need to refresh.

Triage — Responding to Incoming Attacks

Triage is how your alliance coordinates its response to incoming threats. Tapping any row in Member Attacks or Outpost Attacks opens the detail panel for that combat, which shows the full picture: who is being attacked, which fleets are attacking, how much time is left, and what defenders (if any) are already on the way.

The Triage Status

Every combat has a triage status that your alliance sets to show how it is being handled. When you send defenders or make a call on a combat, update its status so everyone knows. Members with the rank of Member or higher can set and change this status. Probationary members can see the status but cannot change it.

StatusColorWhat it means
Open Red No one has responded yet. This needs attention.
Partial Amber Some defenders are coming, but coverage may be incomplete.
Stand Down Blue The alliance has decided not to defend this one.
Covered Green Another alliance member is sending defenders.
Self-Covered Green The player being attacked is handling their own defense.

Covered and Self-Covered are both green because both mean the situation is handled. The difference is who is handling it.

To change the status: open the detail panel, tap Change Status, and pick from the five options. The new status is visible to your entire alliance immediately. You can change it again at any time — for example, moving from Stand Down back to Covered if plans change.

No confirmation is required when changing status. It is designed to be fast.

Dispatching Your Fleet to Help

Any alliance member can dispatch a fleet to defend — including Probationary members.

  1. Tap a row in Member Attacks or Outpost Attacks to open the detail panel.
  2. Tap Dispatch Fleet.
  3. The fleet picker shows your eligible fleets. Only fleets that can actually go are listed — ineligible fleets are hidden entirely.
  4. Tap a fleet to select it, then tap Confirm Dispatch Fleet N to send it.

What Makes a Fleet Eligible

  • It has at least one ship.
  • It is currently at your Stardom with no active orders, or it has a Stay order.
  • It can reach the target before the countdown in the detail panel reaches zero.

Fleets that are already moving, attacking, defending somewhere else, or returning home cannot be dispatched and will not appear in the picker.

Arriving in Time

Your fleet must be able to reach the target before the countdown in the detail panel reaches zero. Fleets that are too far away are not listed. If the fleet you picked can no longer make it by the time you confirm, you will see Too late — your fleet can no longer arrive in time. A fleet stationed nearer the target, or a teammate who is closer, may still make it. Otherwise, check other active combats that still have time remaining.

Defending Outposts

Outpost defense works differently from defending a member's Stardom. When an enemy attacks your outpost, they fight the fleets defending it: those stationed there and any sent to help. If no fleets are defending and the outpost has a shield, the attackers fight the shield instead. If their attack breaks the shield, their alliance takes the outpost in that same battle. If the shield holds, the attackers are sent home.

There are two ways to defend an outpost:

Proactive — station fleets before an attack. Fleets stationed at an outpost fight automatically when combat starts. You do not need to be online or take any action. This is your primary defense. A shield is a second line of defence, not a first. Fleets stationed at an outpost are your real protection.

Reactive — dispatch during an active attack. If an outpost is already under attack, open the Outpost Attacks tab, tap the row for that outpost, and use Dispatch Fleet in the detail panel to send a fleet as a reinforcement. A dispatched fleet joins the defense if it can arrive before the countdown reaches zero. If it cannot, the dispatch is rejected.

You can see which fleets are currently stationed or on their way in the Our Defenders tab. If an outpost has no defenders and no fleet is en route, your alliance may want to act now.

One important note: EMP ships do not damage shields. If your alliance is defending against an attack, EMP attackers cannot knock down the shield directly. Only conventional attack damage affects it.

Scanning Attackers

Knowing what you are up against helps your alliance prepare. You can scan any attacker directly from the detail panel.

Individual scan: In the detail panel, tap Scan next to any attacker. Pick a scan type, and the results appear. Each scan costs resources. If an attacker has already been scanned by someone in your alliance, the existing scan type is shown on that row. You can still run a higher-quality scan if you have one available.

Scan All: Tap Scan All at the bottom of the screen (covers all visible unscanned attackers on the current tab) or inside a detail panel (covers that combat only). A confirmation panel opens where you choose the scan type, see the total cost, and confirm. Scans run in the background — no popup appears for each result. Attacker rows update in real time as results come in.

Scan All scans are shared with your whole alliance. If another member has already scanned an attacker, Scan All skips them automatically.

What You Cannot Do Here

A few things players commonly try in Fleet Movements that belong elsewhere:

  • Starting a new attack. Fleet Movements is for responding to active combats, not launching new ones. Go to the map to attack.
  • Managing outpost settings or technology. Outpost settings are under Outposts and alliance technology under Tech, both on the alliance menu.
  • Recalling a defender. The Our Defenders tab shows where your alliance's defenders are. To bring your own fleet home, recall it from Command Fleet or the map.
  • Viewing resolved battles. Once a combat finishes, its row leaves Fleet Movements. If your fleet fought in it or your Stardom was the target, the battle report is in Command Battles.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

The detail panel closes if the combat resolves. If a battle finishes while you have the detail panel open, the panel closes automatically and you return to the tab list.

Status shows the latest choice. If two members set a status at almost the same moment, the later one is what everyone sees, and it updates live for every member who has this screen open.

Rank changes take effect immediately. If you are promoted from Probationary to Member while using Fleet Movements, the Change Status button appears right away — you do not need to leave and return.
